QuickLift Face Lift
For people with a busy lifestyle, facelift surgery may not be an option…but the QuickLift face lift is. The QuickLift is designed to deliver superior results with less recovery and downtime when compared to traditional face lift surgery. And unlike other types of facelift surgery, the QuickLift is never a one-size-fits-all procedure. Customized to address the specific needs of each patient, our highly qualified and trained, board certified QuickLift physician will examine your facial anatomy during a private consultation, listen to your individual concerns and develop a facial rejuvenation plan based on your needs and desired results. There is a doctor’s consultation fee. However, there is no fee (for a limited time) to talk with one of our QuickLift Specialists.
The QuickLift was developed for men and women who want to stay ahead of the aging process, typically age 40 and older. Around this age, most people begin to lose elasticity in their skin and develop varying degrees of sagging skin along the jaw line and beneath the chin.
Unlike other types of facelift and mini face lift procedures that tighten only skin, the QuickLift permanently suspends the underlying structures of the lower face, called the SMAS, offering men and women the benefit of a more youthful appearance for years to come.
While the QuickLift face lift results in significant anti-aging and skin tightening results, it is important to remember that after any facial procedure, the normal aging process continues. Lifestyle choices, bone structure, skin type, sun exposure and heredity all play a part in how long the results will last.
QuickLift Face Lift Recovery
The QuickLift face lift recovery depends very much on the individual having surgery. While the QuickLift has been called the “weekend facelift” for its quick recovery time, this term can be misleading. When performed alone, the recovery time for the QuickLift face lift is relatively short; most people can have the surgery on a Friday and feel comfortable returning to work just a few days later. However, because the QuickLift is customized to the individual needs of each patient, ancillary facial rejuvenation procedures are often performed at the same time, which can extend the recovery period. QuickLift patients that choose additional procedures such as a chemical peel, dermal fillers or eyelid surgery, find they are able to return to work within two weeks after having the procedure.
Although a prescription for pain medication is provided, most patients find that over-the-counter Tylenol is all they need to alleviate any discomfort. Some people may experience temporary bruising, which can be camouflaged with makeup after three days of having the QuickLift. To minimize swelling, patients are encouraged to sleep with their head elevated for the first week and apply cold compresses the first 48 hours.
