The patented movement of the TICKLE LIPO cannula enables it to glide through fatty tissue while delivering local anesthesia and removing fat with little or no pain. The cannula is also able to maneuver through fibrous or tougher areas for better body sculpting, less surgery time, less bruising and less recovery time. Tickle Lipo provides an overall better liposuction experience for most patients.
TICKLE LIPO is a minimally invasive procedure. Through tiny incisions, numbing tumescent fluid is infused using a TICKLE LIPO vibrating cannula. Once numb, your doctor will use a TICKLE LIPO vibrating suction cannula specially designed for the area of your body being worked on, for body sculpting and fat removal.
Liposuction for the Neck
A small incision is made under the chin and sometimes behind each ear lobe. The lipo canula is then introduced under the skin to suction the excess fat from the neck area. If there is sagging of the platysmal muscles under the chin, this can also be addressed through the same incision. The platysmal muscles are thin fan shaped muscles, which extend from the collarbone up into the lower face area. With time, these muscles tend to separate from the underlying neck structures and they sag downward, thus contributing to the double chin deformity. Sometimes they appear as a band or bands in the vertical midline of the neck. Sutures are used to reattach and reposition these muscles to the underlying structures, thus creating a more defined neckline. If you have a receding chin, which will present with an overbite and a short jaw line, you may want to consider a chin augmentation procedure as well. This is easily done through the same incision under your chin we will use for liposuction.
